HIK was honoured to host world-renowned conservationist and marine biologist Dr Sylvia Earle on a farm tour as part of the launch of the Cape Whale Coast Hope Spot. From beginners to winners….
For the last two seasons, HIK Abalone farm has entered a staff team into the local business league cricket tournament. The tournament comprises of approximately 26 social and business sponsored teams with games being played from October through to March.Details
HIK is very proud of Anelisiwe Gaika (Nelly) who won the award for best learner in the Adult Education and Training Program for 2013. This is an AgriSETA initiative which gives recognition for outstanding dedication and performance by a learner. This is the second time that one of HIK’s learners has won this award, and it is encouraging to see achievements such as these by our workers.Details
